United Against Malaria aims to raise global awareness and renew worldwide commitment to ending malaria, as well as increase the use of prevention tools and malaria treatment in Africa.

Malaria disproportionately affects people on the African continent due to the type of mosquito most prevalent there and the lack of infrastructure available to combat the disease. In addition, people living in poverty are more susceptible to the disease, as they are more likely to have limited access to services.
